All good fun and informative stuff, with interesting people sharing interesting ideas. Good also to see a few faces from the maillists. Shown below are a few pictures to give a sample of events over the weekend. The strange contraption of plastic, studding, stepper motors and worm drives is a “RepRap” 3-d ‘printer’ going through its paces. The keg was much appreciated for the good choice of fine ale for the evening. The significance of a certain soldering iron wielding fiend concerns bringing down the power grid for an area. Fortunately for this weekend, we had nothing more than just the fire alarm going off…
