Thanks go to Gemma and Hackspace\, and their sponsors\, and everyone at barcamp\, for making a smoothly run and excellent event. \nCaz Mockett has posted up a few pictures that she took over the weekend and she lists the talks she went to. Also\, some of the talks are posted up on @lanyrd’s site. See here for a list of upcoming barcamps for the UK. \nShown below are a few pictures to give a sample of events over the weekend. The strange contraption of plastic\, studding\, stepper motors and worm drives is a “RepRap” 3-d ‘printer’ going through its paces. The keg was much appreciated for the good choice of fine ale for the evening. The significance of a certain soldering iron wielding fiend concerns bringing down the power grid for an area. Fortunately for this weekend\, we had nothing more than just the fire alarm going off… \nUntil the next event!…
