Out at the Inn – Open Night at the Falcon Inn

No real talk or anything planned for the next meet, but it would be great to hear from folks what they have been doing or try to help with any questions they may have.
I can discuss (briefly):

• Hibernate support with encrypted swap – benefits and limitations thereof
• The current state of play with Bumblebee and why you need it on any Optimus laptop
• The general state of OEM support for GNU/Linux (power management etc)
• How not to buy a laptop off eBay
• KDEConnect

If you are coming, please let us do know on the mail list. If we have enough folks we can ask the Falcon very nicely to keep the kitchen open for us. Otherwise it’s whatever bar snacks they have or food elsewhere before hand.
As ever, look for the signs of geekery and hackery (laptops, tablets, mags, bad hair…). We’ll try to acquire the table on the left just as you go in to be nearer to that lovely open fire.
