“ntpq -p” output

The Gentoo (and others?) incomplete man pages for “ntpq -p” merely give the description: “Print a list of the peers known to the server as well as a summary of their state.”

Boot a (Gentoo) LiveCD ISO image from a HDD partition

Useage

I’ve used this trick for updating/reinstalling over an existing system on remote machines and for machines that don’t have any removable media.
