Beeston Blue Moon Beers

For our post-spring-equinox-Easter-full-moon NLUG Blue Moon we go to the far Eastern side of … Beeston 😉 to enjoy the excellent high tastes of the recently arrived Gurkha Express.

Meet directly there on account of our favored hostelries all being located over in the more central low plateau area of Beeston 😛

In The Star we usually take over a table or two somewhere round the back, either in front of the barrels 🙂 or out in the marque area depending on numbers.

“Blue Moon” in this context is used to mean “a rare event”. Usage here is also a corruption on the description for when there is an extra full moon during a season, in that the beers meet-up fills in for when we have a fifth Thursday in a calendar month 🙂
